No matter where you’re at in your money journey, the most important thing is to be grateful. What?! I know…I’ve been broke and in debt with the collections departments calling and it’s hard to be grateful for unlisted phone numbers calling you three times a day. Breathe and remember this old wisdom:
“If you can’t be grateful for the beans, you’ll never be grateful for the steak”
If all you can afford tonight is beans on toast then give thanks for your meal. Establish a position of gratitude. Look around you and count 10 things to be grateful for.
Do you have clean running water?
Is your body pain free?
Are you safe in the pandemic from disease?
Then give thanks and start guiding your mind to abundance rather than lack. Focusing on your lack produces resentment and envy. Give thanks for the beans.
